MNH summer season under way

There's free admission for children of school age as the doors to the Isle of Man's heritage sites reopen after the winter break this weekend.

From the Laxey Wheel to the Island's medieval castles and the secret history of smuggling at the Nautical Museum in Castletown, the Manx National Heritage summer season kicks off today (Friday).

And with the launch of the ACE card, sponsored by local business Conister Bank, all Manx students can enjoy free access to all the locations.

Public service manager for MNH Howard Parkin says there's a packed schedule to look forward to over the next few months (play audio file):
