MHK looks forward to televised coverage

This is a humorous story, written for April Fool's Day, 2010.


Following the recent news the BBC is considering broadcasting Tynwald debates on its Parliament website, it's been revealed MHKs and MLCs are to be given acting and elocution lessons.

All members will also have to pass a screen test before being televised, and any who don't come up to the required standard will have to sit out of camera shot and have their words spoken by an actor, while a picture of a Loaghtan sheep is shown on screen.
