'Other solutions should have been considered'

The president of the Isle of Man Trades Council says she isn't happy with the process used by the Manx government to reform public sector pensions. 

After lengthy discussions and consultation, 15 separate schemes are to be streamlined, to create a single, unified Manx pension scheme for 7,000 public servants.

Angela Moffatt agrees something had to be done, but says the consultation undertaken by government is not the same as negotiation:
