The staff at Equiom Trust Company Limited recently presented a cheque for ?3,000 to their nominated Island charity ‘The Diana Princess of Wales Care at Home Trust.’
Equiom’s Managing Director Sheila Dean commented, "I am very proud the support our staff have shown throughout 2009 to raise funds for this very worthwhile cause which provides essential palliative care at home for patients."
Ron Spencer the charity’s Chairman added, "We are extremely grateful for the support from Equiom and these funds will assist us to continue to provide high quality nursing care and support to the individual patient, the family, friends and carers, when the patient has chosen to remain at home."
The funds were raised from dress down day donations from staff totalling ?2500.00 – in addition Equiom donated ?500.00 in lieu of costs associated with Christmas cards.
