A 26-year-old man who supplied drugs from his home in Peel has been jailed for a total of seven years by Deemster Doyle at a Court of General Gaol.
Ralph Henry Stewart, whose address was given as care of the Island's prison, admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply and supplying the drug.
The court heard police searched the defendant's flat in Michael Street, at 9am on June 6 last year.
Officers found 89.79 grammes of cocaine, weighing scales, a large amount of cash and several phones, all with messages indicating drug dealing was going on.
The cocaine had an Isle of Man street value of ?6,863.
Stewart's bank statements showed large amounts of cash being paid in and withdrawn from two seperate accounts.
His advocate said he got caught up in the drug scene because he was laid off work in January. He saw it as an easy way to make an 'easy buck' and was now deeply remorseful for what he had done.
Deemster Doyle said the aggravating factors were the significant amounts involved, and the fact the defendant supplied drugs on a commercial basis for monetary gain.
He told Stewart he was giving him full credit for the guilty pleas.
