Football Club hit hard by theft

Police are appealing for information about a burglary which is going to cost Union Mills Football Club more than ?2,500.

Various items were stolen and property damaged in the break in, which happened between 6.30pm on Sunday and 10.30am on Monday.

The club is a registered charity and police say it has been hit hard by the crime, due to the high cost of repair and replacement.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Bryn Griffith at Braddan Police Station, on 852999.
