Inquest may shed light on mysterious death

by isleofman.com 30th March 2010

An inquest will be opened and adjourned tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon into the death of a 45-year-old Laxey man whose body was found in the village earlier this month.

Adam Hobson was discovered in the early hours of Sunday, March 21, close to a property off Church Hill.

A large part of the village was closed off while investigations were carried out.

Following a post mortem examination by a visiting pathologist, police said it appeared Mr Hobson died as a result of a tragic accident, but the circumstances were unknown.

The inquest will open at Douglas courthouse at 1.45pm, and will be conducted by Coroner Alastair Montgomerie.
