A chicken in Ballasalla is resting on her back today, after having a crack at laying the world's largest hen's egg.
The bird, which belongs to Don Jones, produced one which tipped the scales at 115 grammes, just two grammes short of the current Guinness World record.
It's not known if the bird was trying to 'shell-ebrate' Easter a week early!
Mr Jones says he was initially disappointed the hen didn't quite manage the record, but they are both 'all white' now!
