Police probe town assault

Police are investigating an assault which took place outside the Union pub in Castletown in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A teenage man sustained facial injuries after being headbutted by another man at around midnight.

It’s believed to have started as a verbal altercation between the teenager and a female.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or has knowledge of the events leading up to it.
