Douglas Royal sealed a great result to win the match of the day in CFS Division Two on Saturday.

The league leaders won 2-0 at second placed Ayre United to extend their advantage at the top.

A first half double from Craig Dolman consigned the Tangerines to a home defeat to the team of the moment.

Marown gained a decent point but were unable to capitalise on Ayre’s slip as they drew 2-2 at Onchan.

Peter Dixon and James Sharp fired Marown into a 2-1 half-time lead but Onchan earned a share of the spoils through a Paul Whitley double.

Braddan’s super form continued as goals from Geoff Murphy, Dave Kinrade and Rob Shaw secured a 3-1 home win over Foxdale.

Dwayne Dawson and Tony Deakin were the goal-getters as Ronaldsway won 2-1 at the Police.

Carl Careen was the star of the show as Pulrose ran out 4-0 home winners over Douglas and District.

The 16 year-old notched a double on his debut with Barry English and Dave Dentith grabbing the others.
