Broadcaster plans online coverage

It's emerged the BBC wants to broadcast Tynwald debates on the internet.

A senior official said the corporation was interested in providing coverage from the chamber during a public sitting of a select committee, on Wednesday.

Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan says it's an interesting idea (play audio file):

The committee, chaired by Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen, is investigating whether the BBC licence fee represents value for money for residents of the Isle of Man.
