by isleofman.com 25th March 2010

Scottish Widow Parish Walk organisers are appealing to all those wanting to take part to get your entries in a soon as possible.

People have been able to register since the beginning of Decemeber and 565 have already declared their interest - a number which is up on previous years.

All who have signed-up can go to the Manx Museum on Monday lunchtime for a motivational talk from former Olympian Roger Black......who is officially supporting the event.

Entries close on Saturday 15th May.

Race Director Ray Cox says entering early really does help organisers put on the best day possible:-

The Scottish Widows Parish Walk starts at 8am from the National Sports Centre on Saturday 26th June. You can enter online at parishwalk.com
