Flagship due back in service

The Ben-my-Chree will be on her way back to the Isle of Man tonight after a three-week absence.

The Steam Packet's flagship has been undergoing her biennial overhaul, including repairs to her propellers, which were damaged at Victoria Pier earlier this year.

It's hoped she will be back on her normal Heysham route tomorrow and the fastcraft Manannan will be starting the spring schedule to Liverpool's Pier Head.

Steam Packet chief executive Mark Woodward says the damage to the propellors hasn't hindered progress:
