Four men seen walking in Laxey in the early hours of Sunday morning could hold the key in an inquiry into an unexplained death.
The body of 45-year-old Adam Hobson was discovered on Church Hill in the village at 7am that day and, while it's believed he died as the result of a tragic accident, the full circumstances are still unknown.
Police particularly want to speak to a group of three men in their mid to late 30ss who initially walked from the Isle of Man Bank area, across the road bridge and past the Co-op. They returned a short time later, walking beside the Total petrol station, on the opposite side of the road.
They were carrying bags which may have contained bottles, and one of them had a rucsack.
Officers also want to speak to a man seen walking down Church Hill from the general direction of the Bridge Inn about 1.35 am. He is in his mid 30s, about five feet, eight inches tall, and of medium build. He had short, slightly receding dark hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a light coloured top, and possibly a jacket.
Police stress the men are viewed as potential witnesses who may be able to help in establishing Mr Hobson's final movements.
