There will be a leaving party with a difference in Douglas tomorrow ( Friday) when the employer, rather than a member of staff, will be saying goodbye.
The Department of Local Government and the Environment is inviting all its former workers to its offices to mark its closure.
The department will vanish in the restructuring of government on April 1.
