Could you be a King of the Scallops, Lord it over the lobsters or be Queenie of the Island's seafoods?
A Champion of Manx Seafoods is to be appointed by the Fisheries Division, to promote the industry throughout Europe.
The seafood sector supports 250 local jobs, with the vast majority of catches being exported, mainly to the United Kingdom, France and Spain.
As well as Manx kippers, scallops and queenies, exports of crabs, lobsters and whelks find appreciative markets as far afield as Korea.
Fisheries Minister Phil Gawne says the Isle of Man is already forging an international reputation for innovative management of its fisheries and It's hoped the new post holder will help expand that recognition.
He or she will be expected to implement a marketing plan which has been developed by the Department and the industry, assist the catching and processing sectors to adopt best practice, develop the infrastructure required, and devise both a brand and a marketing campaign to support it.
Application forms can be downloaded from the government website (gov.im) or obtained from director of fisheries Andy Read, on 685837.
The closing date is April 14.
There will be more on this story when Tom Bryan-Brown from the Manx Fish Producers' Association talks to John Moss, live on Mandate, just before 8am today (Wednesday).
