Senior BBC staff, the director of the Communications Commission and the managing director of Manx Radio are among those giving evidence today (Wednesday) to a Tynwald committee set up to assess the Island's commitment to the BBC licence fee.
The committee must decide whether the sum paid represents value for money, and the viability of the Island withdrawing from the arrangement.
From 10.30am, the committee will hear from the BBC's head of external policy, Wilf White; head of new media, Laura Ellis; Manx Radio's managing director, Anthony Pugh; director of the Communications Commission Dr Carmel McLaughlin and the commission's chairman, Adrian Earnshaw, MHK.
When the review was announced, Mr Earnshaw said he felt people in the Isle of Man received a good service from the BBC for the money they paid.
Members of the public can attend the sitting in the Millennium Room at Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
