Quirk to raise quagmire concerns

Are the facilities at the back of the grandstand ready for TT 2010?

That's a question being raised in the House of Keys today by Onchan member David Quirk, who doesn't want a repeat of the situation at last year Manx Grand Prix, when parts of the area became a quagmire after heavy rain.

Mr Quirk says he has been contacted by several constituents, who have expressed concern about the situation.

He hopes the Department of Tourism won't allow the same thing to happen again:
