DoT examines Langness inquiry report

It could be May before the findings of the Langness public inquiry are made public.

The inquiry, which concluded in October, centred on public rights of way on the Langness peninsula and was sparked when TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson diverted a path around his home.

He says there's no right of way across his land, while local residents say they have been using the footpath for decades.

The inquiry report is now in the hands of the Department of Transport, but Minister David Anderson says it needs to be reviewed, prior to publication:
