Children at Victoria Road in Castletown are sporting cheesy grins, after their favourite dish reappeared on the menu for school dinners.
The menus are regularly rotated to ensure pupils get plenty of variety in their midday meal.
But year six students were angry when cheese pie was dropped after Christmas, and decided to go right to the top to get it reinstated.
The cheesed off children gathered pupils' signatures on a petition and took the opportunity to leave it on the desk of Education Minister Anne Craine during a tour of the Tynwald buildings.
She responded by speaking with the School Meals Service, which quickly reinstated the lunchtime favourite to the menu, much to the pupils' delight.
The children thanked the minister and the schools catering manager by inviting them into school to taste the popular pie.
They also presented Mrs Craine with a thank you card.
