Help is on hand for the elderly and those on low incomces worried about paying their electricity bills when charges go up next month.
A seven per cent increase announced in February's budget ends the government subsidy to MEA customers and comes into effect from April 1.
Now the MEA and Age Concern have joined forces in a new campaign 'Together We Can' to offer advice and practical help for those hit hardest by the price rise.
The charity's Chief Executive Penny Creighton is urging anyone concerned about meeting higher bills to talk to the MEA.
Its chairman Quintin Gill says her concerns have been taken on board.
