Four-midable English the Pulrose star

by isleofman.com 20th March 2010

Barry English was the star of the show as Pulrose won a thriller in CFS Division Two on Saturday.

He hit four as Pulrose edged out neighbours the Police 5-4 – all this in the second half.

Police led 2-0 at the break but the haul from English and one from Adam Store sealed a fine comeback.

Braddan continued their good form and cemented their bid for a Paul Henry Gold Cup berth with a 2-1 win at Onchan.

Geoff Murphy and Shane Larkin were their scorers with Paul Whitley finding the net for Onchan.

Foxdale fought back from 3-1 down but had to settle for a point at spirited Ronaldsway in the other game.

The in-form John O’Brien scored twice with Kevin Murphy netting the other for the Rockets.

Willie Woods, Jordan Meads and Adam Menton were the Foxdale marksmen.
