Seven out of seven for Bacchas

by isleofman.com 20th March 2010

It’s seven wins out of seven for Bacchas A at the top of the Mixed Premier Division.

They edged out Falcons 3-2 in the big match to maintain their four point lead at the top.

A double from Louise Corkill sealed the points after Richard Le Page fired them ahead.

Conor Byrne scored twice for Falcons but they slipped to defeat and are out of the title race.

Reigning champions Valkyrs A still retain hopes of their own and won 6-1 against Bacchas B.

A Chris Caldwell hat-trick, an Ollie Webster double and one from Russell Miller ensured Jonny Callow’s goal was a mere consolation.

Ramsey A battled hard but went down 4-2 to Valkyrs B in the battle of the bottom two.

Sarah McChesney (two), Mark Moyer and Jonah Hull scored their goals with Dan Stevenson and Nick White finding the net for Ramsey.
