Lucky escape for man in air accident

A pilot has walked away unhurt after a helicopter crash near West Baldwin.

David Astill was taking off from Virginia Farm on the Mount Rule Back Road when the accident happened, this afternoon (Friday).

He managed to crash land the ?300,000 aircraft in a field, after suspected engine failure.

Mr Astill told Paul Moulton of Granda Reports about his lucky escape:
