It's Sport Relief!

by isleofman.com 19th March 2010

Schoolchildren across the Isle of Man are preparing to do their bit for Sport Relief today (Friday).

Some - Rushen, Victoria Road, Ballasalla, Ashley Hill and Foxdale - are doing their own Sport Relief Miles, while Laxey primary is holding a morning of exercise for the children followed by an afternoon of fundraising.

Sunday is the whole Island's turn to take part with a Sport Relief Mile taking place on Douglas Promenade.

Manx Sport and Recreation's Trevor Christian, one of the organisers, says Manx charities are entitled to benefit from this British Isles-wide fundraiser.
