Thought is being given to how a version of 'Sarah's Law' could be introduced in the Isle of Man.
The law would give parents the right to find out if people with access to their children have convictions for sexual crimes.
Responding to a question from Bill Henderson MHK, Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw said the Department is actively seeking to understand how the law might translate into a Manx context.
