Social workers talk to key union figure

The Chief Executive of a major social workers union has been in the Island today ( Thursday), listening to members' concerns.

Hilton Dawson, a former Labour MP, spoke to members of the British Association of Social Workers at The Lodge in Braddan.

John McKenzie, from the Children Home and local BASWA representative, says the appointment of a new Childrens Commissioner on the Island is to be applauded.
