Manx competitors have returned from the Cruft's dog show having once again put in a sterling performance.
Although there were no Best of Breed awards this year, Ballasalla-based Tanya Mackrell's Australian Silky Terrier took Reserve Best Dog in its category and Lionel Jacques' Norwegian Buhund from Baldrine received first place in its class.
All shapes and sizes of dogs from the Isle of Man made the journey to Birmingham's NEC for the four day show and there'll be plenty of Manx owners pleased with their results.
Good showings from other breeds included Dalmatians, Afghan Hounds, Retrievers, Bolognese, Boston and Norwich Terriers, Belgian Shepherd, Boxer and German Shorthaired Pointer
A Hungarian Viszla from Cumbria saw off stiff competition to become the first of the breed to win the coveted Best in Show category.
