Investigation launched after school bus crash

by isleofman.com 15th March 2010

The headteacher of Ramsey Grammar School says it may be some time before the cause of today’s accident, involving a minibus carrying staff and pupils, is known.

At 1pm, the 17-seater vehicle was taking three members of staff and three teenage boys back to the school when it crashed at Sulby Bridge.

Nobody was injured, although the teacher who was driving was taken to Noble’s Hospital for a precautionary checkup.

Head teacher David Trace says the minibus, which belongs to the Department of Education, was well-maintained.
