Harriet Pryke's gold in Sheffield

by isleofman.com 15th March 2010

There was double medal delight for Manx athlete Harriet Pryke yesterday.

Competing for Brunel University at the indoor British Universities Championship in Sheffield, she struck gold as part of the 4x200m relay team, having earlier picked up a bronze in the 400m.

She'd qualified for the final of the 400m fourth fastest and another good showing meant she only missed out on gold by three-tenths of a second, finishing in 56.18.
