by isleofman.com 13th March 2010

Motorists are being reminded that a section of Bucks Road in Douglas will be closed to traffic for up to three days from Sunday morning.

It’s so a gas main can be repaired.

The road will be closed between Rosemount traffic lights and its junction with Woodburn Square/Hawarden Avenue from 8am until 7am on Wednesday (March 17).

Shops and businesses on The Terrace WILL still be open - and although the road is closed to through traffic, there will be short term parking outside the shops.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and some local parking on Mount Bradda and Selborne Road will be suspended to allow diverted bus routes to run safely.
