Sulby Valley and the surrounding area is set to be the location of the Island’s first ever 'Adventure Race' on Saturday 27th March 2010.

The Adventure Race is the latest charity challenge organised by The Children's Centre.

Mark Eastham, Adventure Events Coordinator at The Children’s Centre, said, "The close proximity of the steep valleys, woodland and remote mountainous areas make Sulby the perfect environment for Adventure Racing.

"This event will consist of three demanding stages: a 6km trail run, 10km Mountain Biking and a further 3.5km trail run, and can be entered as an individual or a team.

"The racing is all off-road so the going can get tough: but that’s what Adventure Racing is all about!"

To sign up or to find out more about this exciting event, please visit www.thechildrenscentre.org.im or phone Mark on (01624 631917.
