Safety warning on Richmond Hill

by isleofman.com 12th March 2010

Motorists have been driving through the Richmond Hill roadworks at anything up to over 60mph, despite a 30mph speed limit being in place.

Earlier this week, the Department of Transport revealed seven motorists had been charged with speeding on the stretch since the works began.

Kevin Quine of the DoT says the speeds some cars have been clocked at are 'absolutely ridiculous' and is urging drivers to stick to the limit for everyone's safety.
