A local pressure group has branded next week's Legislative Council election as 'ridiculous' and is calling on MHKs to spoil their papers to expose the situation.
The Positive Action group says there's no written rule to stop East Douglas MHK Phil Braidwood voting for himself, giving him an unfair advantage over the six other candidates.
Four retiring MLCs and three newcomers are contesting the four seats available.
