Onchan Commissioners slammed for pitch opposition

The President of Onchan Football Club has hit out at the commissioners for objecting to the proposed new pitch development at Blackberry Lane.

David Quirk says he's upset the local authority is going against a facility for young people in the area.

There have been several other objections to the plans - from residents and the The Friends of Onchan's Heritage group.

David Quirk says the club will now gather support themselves from the community:
