Lung tests on No Smoking Day

by isleofman.com 10th March 2010

It's No Smoking Day.

Activities to encourage those addicted to cigarettes to give up include a chance to find out your own 'lung age'.

The Ambulance Service promotional bus will have experts on hand to carry out the breath test.

Anita Imberger, tobacco strategy coordinator for the Public Health Directorate, says there's a number of services available.

If you wish to test your 'lung age', the team will be at the main entrance to Noble's Hospital this morning (Wednesday) from 9.30am to noon and then at Shoprite in Ramsey between 1.30pm and 4pm.
