Fire services were called out yesterday afternoon to a serious fire on Clay Head road in Baldrine.
Four appliances from Laxey and Douglas and an aerial platform attended the scene just after 2.30pm and 12 firemen using breathing apparatus fought the blaze for some 4 hours.
The building was badly damaged and part of the roof collapsed.
Assistant Divisional Officer at the Fire and Rescue Service John Murtagh says it was a difficult fire to tackle, but he's confident there were no injuries:
