If you think your life would benefit from having a guide dog don't be afraid to ask!
That's the message being given out by two guide dog users on the Island.
They say there is help available here and you don't have to be totally blind or registered blind to be considered for a dog.
Rhiannon Gardner says whilst there are only eight guide dog users on the Island, dogs are available for people, although the process can take some time.
If you think a guide dog would benefit your life, you can visit the website guidedogs.org.uk or ring Gemma Wilde on the Isle of Man on 492137.
Guide dog users are also asking motorists not to stop or flash their lights if they see a blind person with a dog waiting to cross a road. Just drive past normally and they will safely cross the road when it is clear.
