Anger management course starts today

by isleofman.com 4th March 2010

It's hoped people whose temper has got them in trouble with the law will benefit from a new anger management programme offered by the Isle of Man Probation Service.

It was trialled last year, with the final version put together by the service’s clinical psychologist, Dr David Briggs.

The first course starts today (Thursday).

The Probation Service's Lynda Watts says it's about helping people to control their emotions, not eradicate them.
