Bin collection changes in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 1st March 2010

Ramsey ratepayers are being reminded that changes to bin collections around the town begin today (Monday)

In a cost-cutting move, the new rounds will be manned by one crew instead of two, meaning a change to collections in some areas.

All household wheelie bins will be labelled to indicate the new collection day.

With plans to create a new civic amenity site in the north, the commissioners say they’ll assess closely how the new service runs during future budgets.
