Students at two Island secondary schools have gained a flavour of language, culture and politics on a wider scale.
Sixth formers from Castle Rushen and QEII High schools recently returned from a European Study Tour, taking in Brussels, Paris and London, where they visited some of Europe's most influential political institutions.
Head of languages at Castle Rushen, Dr Trudy Haddouche says such a trip has many benefits, particularly widening horizons of our young people.
