New base for PDMS

by isleofman.com 28th February 2010

Island software and IT development firm PDMS has swapped its town centre location in Castletown for new premises in a business park.

The move by the 60-strong workforce is a loss for the town but comes on the back of steady growth by the business.

Managing Director Chris Gledhill says they were sad to leave the converted church in the ancient capital but the modern offices at Isle of Man Business Park will allow them to expand more rapidly.

Chief Minister and Castletown MHK Tony Brown performed the official opening on Friday.

He says Castletown has proved a good place for small companies to establish themselves but firms often outgrow the premises available.
