There's a call for you to do your bit for the local community and help rid Port St Mary beach of litter this morning (Sunday).
A beach clean has been organised to follow on from one at the end of September last year.
It had been due to take place at the end of last month but the Happy Valley landslide and subsequent road closure put paid to that.
One of the organisers, Michelle Haywood, says that's long enough for a lot more rubbish to accumulate, especially as the stormy weather will have churned up lots more from the seabed.
And she thinks they'll see a different type of litter this time.
The beach clean starts at 10am and you're asked to meet at the bottom of the Happy Valley slipway. Gloves and buckets will be provided.
