How do you fancy some free chocolate today? (Saturday)
If you do, the place to be is Strand Street in Douglas as volunteers from the Island's Fairtrade movement, assisted by students from St Ninian's High School Fairtrade Committee, will be handing out tasters of Fairtrade Produce.
The initiative is to mark Fairtrade Fortnight which runs for the next two weeks.
The Island received Fairtrade Island status in 2008 and Co-ordinator of the One World Centre, Cheryl Cousins, hopes people will take advantage of a chance to taste some free Fairtrade produce and think how easily they could make a real difference
Full Fairtrade status was awarded in recognition of its support for the ethical production of goods in Third World countries.
Fairtrade volunteers will be in Strand Street from 10am until around 2.30pm.
