TT riders will be insured

TT competitors will be covered by health insurance this summer – but only when officially in action.

With the Reciprocal Health Agreement ending in just over a month's time, there was concern riders who sustain injuries during the event won’t receive free health treatment.

However, while members of motorcycle teams will have to take out their own insurance, media liaison officer for the Southern 100 Phil Edge says riders won’t have that extra worry.
