New MEA chief appointed

The Manx Electricity Authority has announced a successor to Ashton Lewis as Chief Executive.

Philip King will move from his current post within the MEA as Director of Generation.

The chairman, Rushen MHK Quintin Gill, says the board were extremely impressed with the calibre of all candidates who applied, but are confident they have selected the right individual to take the MEA through into the next phase of its life.
