Hit and run at the Braaid

Police are appealing for information after two cars collided yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, with the person responsible driving off.

It happened at Braaid Crossroads at about 5.10pm.

A burgundy Nissan was travelling towards Glen Vine from the St Marks direction when a silver coloured sports car heading from Foxdale to Douglas hit it.

The silver vehicle did not stop after the collision and the vehicle registration is unknown.

It left a dent and a large scratch to the passenger side door of the Nissan.

No-one was injured.

Anyone with information should call PC Morley at Douglas police station on 631212 or speak to any police officer.
