One of the Isle of Man's largest libraries has been forced to close for the day, seemingly as a result of the bad weather.
The electrical supply to the Henry Bloom Noble Library in Douglas has failed, causing Douglas Corporation to close the doors for today (Wednesday) at least.
A statement issued to Manx Radio suggests the problem is the result of 'water ingress caused by heavy rain over night'.
Assistant Borough Treasurer, Anthony Boyd, says the Corporation is working to fix the problem.
