Burnham talks about reciprocal agreement

by isleofman.com 23rd February 2010

The United Kingdom's health secretary says he will keep the Reciprocal Health Agreement with the Isle of Man under review, but isn't promising to reverse his decision to end it.

Andy Burnham had refused interview requests on the issue, but a BBC reporter questioned him about the situation as he was campaigning in the North West of England.

On the BBC's Politics Show he was asked whether he would reconsider his decision to terminate the agreement at the end of next month.

He made it clear there was no turning back, and said he was looking after the interests of people in the UK:
