Bethany boosts Star Club funds

by isleofman.com 23rd February 2010

Extreme athlete Bethany Clague has completed her latest endurance challenge for charity.

She ran six full marathons on six of the Island's promenades over six days, raising money for the Star Club in Douglas, which provides activities and help for adults with mental health problems.

Bethany completed each of the marathons in times of between five and five and a half hours, and the total distance she covered was 156 miles.

Her next challenge is in May when she will run the length of the United Kingdom, from John O'Groats to Land's End.
